Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association, 1988 as a part of the inaugural group of 77 attorneys to achieve this distinction.

Qualified Civil Neutral, Mediator, and Arbitrator under Rule 14 of General Rules of Practice. Has been appointed by the court as an early neutral evaluator and/or special master.

Member of Cooperative Solutions Inc., Grand Rapids, MN (Mediation/Arbitration Organization)

Personal
Pat was born in International Falls, Minnesota in 1942. Pat has three adult children. His wife, JoAnn, is now retired from a teaching career in English at Mesabi Range Community and Technical College, as well as serves as a part time State Officer of the college FAculty Association. Pat and JoAnn, when not engaged in their careers, increasingly engage in world travel, skiing, golfing and cycling as well as frequent wilderness hunting and fishing excursions.
